About Us

Today AVBuddy has over 100 staff operating from our offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and with many years of proven experience of delivering mission critical video and production systems and facilities in the region, AVBuddy (formerly known as Ideal Systems SEA) has become the leading media systems integrator for Southeast Asia.

Established in Singapore in September 2011, to expand Ideal’s Broadcast Systems Integration business in Southeast Asia (SEA). The company has grown from strength to strength. Originally focused on the Broadcast market, the business grew considerably, acquiring IPK Broadcast Systems in Singapore in 2017 and Singapore based Control Logic Systems in 2025 which has helped fuel that continued growth into the Pro-AV Market. Over these years we have won many regional and international awards for our projects. While focused on our markets in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, we have successfully delivered projects in India, USA, UK and Africa.

We have developed our Environmental Sustainability program through e-waste recycling and are committed to ensuring our business operates to the highest standards such as our ISO9000 and ISO9001 Quality Management System (QMS). Our engineers and project managers are trained and certified by the leading manufacturers, and we work with independent bodies such as AVIXA with many of our staff holding international CTS certification.

Fifteen years since setting up in Singapore, Ideal SEA, became a 100% Singapore owned company, and changed its name to AVBuddy Integration to reflect its growing integration business in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia outside of the Broadcast industry.

Today AVBuddy provides specialized Pro-AV integration services to ten key markets.
