New paging and evacuation system was installed at IRAS, opposite Newton Station. The digital upgrade reduced 12 equipment racks to 5 in a redesigned Fire Command Centre. The system includes 3,330 Merlaudceiling speakers powered by 72 AMN250 amplifiers (plus 22 for redundancy), with control via MANX88 processors and Merlaud software. LNM18 digital message player and DMH gooseneck microphone support 72-zone announcements.

They even had a Zoom video call with a residents family member for their wedding engagement.
