Royal Plaza on Scotts, Singapore
Acoustic Challenges: Reflective marble floors and walls, glass domes, mirrors and grand staircases created excessive reverberation. No visible cabling was permitted, and the system had to integrate with the fire alarm.
Solution: A custom-designed foreground music system featuring discreetly mounted Polk Audio and Axys (now JBL) speakers, wireless audio transmission, DSP tuning for clear, echo-free sound, and adaptive music levels that fade near reception to suit guest flow.
Mercure Jakarta Batavia
The satisfied property now promotes its cutting-edge AV functionality – including networked audio, conferencing, digital signage and projection. In addition to the main downstairs restaurant, bars, swimming pool, and fitness centre, the 376-room residence is furnished with 13 meeting rooms that promote commerce, training, and team building. PT Ideal Systems Indonesia was called on to install an extensive AV background that enables its guests to simply conduct business effortlessly.
Singapore Expo - Hybrid live virtual event
AVBuddy built a video system for SingEx hybrid live–virtual event based on NDI® technology and Vizrt TriCaster® 2 Elite. The technology seamlessly integrated video callers on Zoom, Skype TX, and Microsoft® Teams with live panellists into a seamless hybrid production. Virtual participants appeared on the 10m long X 3m high LED wall on the stage (also provided by IDEAL) and simultaneously online as a single unified interactive panel of experts.
